The International Food Law Certificate Program courses are offered by the Institute for Food Laws & Regulations and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at Michigan State University through the ANGEL learning management system. ANGEL is an acronym which stands for "A New Global Environment for Learning".

If you are enrolled in a particular degree program at MSU, the tuition rate and fees applicable to your program apply.  Fall 2008 tuition for Lifelong Education has yet to be set by the university, but is proposed at $1,302.00 for Michigan residents and $1,704.00 for non-Michigan residents ($434 and $568 per credit x 3 credits per course).  International Lifelong Education Students living outside the United States are exempt from matriculation fees, international student fees, and international health insurance.

The 3 credits received per course are fully accredited through Michigan State University. Up to 10 credits through the Lifelong Education Program may be transferred to a graduate program. At the time of enrollment, please notify the Registrar if you need graduate-level credit for any degree program. For a list of courses available by term, click here.

ENROLLING THROUGH THE LIFELONG EDUCATION PROGRAM: All students who wish to enroll as Lifelong Education Students at Michigan State University for credit should follow the procedures under "Enrolling as a Lifelong Education Student at Michigan State University." To link directly to the online Lifelong Education application, click here.  Be sure to list yourself as "Lifelong" NOT as "Freshman, Transfer, or Graduate".  [Note: if the system asks for credit card information to charge an admission fee, you are in the wrong enrollment location.]

MSU ELECTRONIC BILLING AND PAYMENT SERVICES.  Electronic billing is the official means of generating tuition bills to all Michigan State University students. This means that paper bills will no longer be mailed. The electronic billing and payment system will automatically send an e-mail notification to the student’s MSU provided e-mail address when a bill is ready to be viewed online. Billing statements will be available in STUINFO (http://STUINFO.msu.edu). For general information on electronic billing and payment options, click here.  For further information on electronic billing and payment services, click here.

THIRD-PARTY TUITION PAYMENT OR THIRD-PARTY INVOICE AUTHORIZATION: If a student has a third-party sponsor, such as a parent or employer, please click here for more information.
